Church Family Supper (Host)

40 days after Christ rose on Easter morning, He ascended to Heaven and the early church was founded shortly after. The early church did not look at all like our modern church with a large building we gather in, but rather people gathered in smaller groups in homes around a meal.

Friday, May 15th marks 40 days after Easter. We want to celebrate and remember the early church by sharing a meal together and worshiping around that meal.

As the host, we'd ask that you open your home to members of our church and provide the main course of the meal, but also allow others to bring something to compliment the meal.

You'll receive the list of those attending on May 11th, the Monday prior to the weekend, and we ask that you contact those who are coming with information about your home, the main food you'll provide, and what they can bring. Please feel free to set the time for the dinner that works best for you and your family. We will also provide a guide for the evening with relevant Scripture, topics of conversation, and prayer prompts.
